Thai massage Course

thai yoga massage course in TenerifeThai massage is also known as Thai yoga therapy due to its similarity of some of its techniques to the stretching of yoga asanas. But this ancient therapy method not only includes stretching, also uses pressure points on different areas of the whole body and head, along certain energy lines called sen lines in Traditional Medicine of Thailand.

The complete basic training certified offered by our partners from the school Inspirales – escuela de desarrollo humano lasts 100 hours. Most of the time goes to practice but also some theoretical and historical references are discussed. Certificate acredited by Itzhak Helman from Sunshine Network and Thai-Healing Alliance International.

How is the Thai Massage Course

During the training, techniques of observation of the mind will be applied and practiced, integrating the reality of impermanence (anicca) in our practice. The Inspirales School gives a big relevance to the fundamental principles without which this therapy is devoid of its identity, such as using your gravity center, correct posture and managing to transmit the weight correctly, good  contact, etc.

Thai massage offers great benefits, both for the therapist and for the person receiving the massage, such as:

  • Increases the FLEXIBILITY of the muscles, ligaments and tendons.
  • Improves joint MOBILITY, increasing production of synovial fluid, thus the sliding between joint cartilages is improved.
  • Improves the circulation of our vital ENERGY and our blood.
  • Improves the regulation of MUSCLE TONE by irrigating blood to these.
  • Promotes a better body POSTURE
  • Internal organs WORK better.
  • BALANCES the endocrine system

The training consists of 70% practical and 30% theoretical learning.Demonstration of the postures to be made.
– Guided practice
– Assisted practice and revision, going over all exercises in pairs.
– The students get their own SUPPORT NOTEBOOK with all the theoretical and historical information and descriptive photographs of each of the sequences.
– In addition, the course includes the supervision of the 4 hours of personal practice of the student, which you must do after each module. This way you can consult with the teachers and ask them about doubts and difficulties that you experience when you are practicing on your own.

The training is aimed at all those who feel interested in learning, and especially to people linked to health activities: body therapists, masseurs, health technicians, physiotherapists, kinesiologists, osteopaths, teachers and students of yoga, acroyoga, martial arts practitioners, dancers …
